One time I sued a local character here for non-payment on a contract. Several others were suing him at the same time - while not in the lemonade stand class, this guy did have a history of just sort of forgetting to honour his word come payday. I was the only one to get paid - reason was, I was the only one who took the time and trouble to go to the Land Registry to get the correct legal description of the property along with the exact spelling of the names of the joint owners. No problem slapping paper on the title, and no problem communicating with the judge, with the homework done correctly. So yeah - spelling does count.
