art, << correct me if I'm wrong about HDTV problems >> HDTV needs the bandwidth of fiber optics. Some cities like Dallas are rapidly putting it in place. Once the infrastructure gets linked, there should be no problems. It's a 20 year program for a complete infrastructue, but many of the populated cities should be within a couple years. This is where the money is generated. Being in a remote area I'm stuck with satellite. Soundtrack sent me a mailer for free installation for digital service if I sign a 1 year subscriber agreement. Don't know what the service costs as I haven't made the inquiry. Larry
