Merritt, I have a lot of problems with both parties. I wish the Republicans would stop catering to bigots. How did the party of Lincoln become the party of code-word racism? And I would be more comfortable with Dems if they acted like they knew how things worked outside of capital cities.

that power structure is self. since the haves tend to be able to gratify the self more then everyone tends to serve the haves. except when there are more have nots and you need them to get elected ;-)

i've always regarded the republicans as more intellectually honest. they say greed is good and act greedy. the democrats say greed is bad and then act greedy -nfg-

republicrat/demican - same thing to a large degree.
