Some more Qu'ranic verses that sanction war: So you are critcizing Islam because we can defend our lives? Because when Pagans killed Muslims 1400 years ago, the Muslims were allowed to defend themselves?? The Qur'an says explictly that Allah dislikes the starter of wars. The Muslims were not allowed to fight during 4 months of the year. They could not force anyone to the religion. They could not attack anyone that had not attacked them. They entire religion is of Peace and yet you attempt to quote verses out of context to convey a different message. 8.61 But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is the One that heareth and knoweth (all things). 9:6.
