Michael, when you call 3Dfx, could you ask them what their position with regards to ATI's new chip (Rage128)? Seems to me that $35 is a very low price for a 8 million transistor processor. Also, was 3Dfx in the Microprocessor Forum and if so what was the reaction to them. And finaly, how far will they take parallel processing in their future products and can they achieve some level of parallelism via software drivers (eg. a Banshee card will do fog, and V2 will do the texuring or something along those lines).
