Patric,

Well said! Intrinsic worth of intelligent leadership with the right assets in place to pull off what Cade has managed to organize in the recent past is hard to nail down. I'm thinking 20. As for playing TA Master :) hehe, I've a resemblance to that, but basically it's been gambling for me. My saving grace is buying quality since timings been a problem.

I've a new batch of ideas, actually principles, and ways to measure them. I'll bounce them around as I see setups that illustrate the concepts. I think I'm on track now, I know I was off for a bit, but all that searching seems to have covered the right ground. I'm coding some clear signals and setting up the scans. After refining the watch lists I'll piece the components together. It's going to be a killer system! :)

DJones Transports are up 12% in just 2 days time from under 2500 to near 2800 as of Friday. It could be the cost of buying, leasing and inventorying huge fleets of trains, planes, trucks and boats is coming down with interest rates. I've seen predictions of 3.5% in 2 years.

Interest Rates.

Cade's debt is down from 10.1m Q1 to 9.5m Q2 and below 9m now. We'll have the actual number this week but for illustrative purposes lets use 10m and assume rates drop 1%. A borrower saves 100k in annual interest. Pegging annual earnings at 5m I feel 100k is insignificant although it is nice.

If cade buys a co. for 100m. Then a 1% decrease in rates means 1m in annual interest savings. I've long thought Cade is looking at larger acquisitions because little ones won't impact the bottom line. I've one in mind that fits my growth model but it's expensive relative to previous acquisitions.

Lower interest rates does increase the likelihood of seizing opportunities for using debt, but I don't have a crystal ball that sees into the future! :))
