MADRAS, India, Oct 18 (Reuters) - India's Ramco Industries Ltd sees sales at its software division doubling in 1998/99 (April-March) to more than $30 million, a top company official said on Sunday.

''We've done very well in the first half and would be doubling turnover easily,'' S. Ramachandran, chief executive officer of the firm's software unit, Ramco Systems, told Reuters in an interview.

Ramco Systems is one of India's better known branded software product makers. Its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, Marshal 3.0, was launched worldwide in March 1997.............
