I'm not sure which avg. volume figure you're looking at, but Yahoo gets theirs from MarketGuide, and its kind of funky how they come up w/ the number:

"Average Daily Volume is the monthly average of the cumulative trading volume during the last three months divided by 22 days."

My first reaction was 'huh?'. Maybe they should call it Recent Average Daily Volume or something, but if you look at the full 1-yr. chart for LBOR at Yahoo, you'll see that the volume levels across the bottom of the chart really spiked over the last 2 1/2 months, causing their basis for calculation to be skewed, IMO.

Now I've got to go and watch the Bears devour the Huskies (or not).

Hopefully not. But the Huskies have not looked sharp at all all season, so this might be an upset waiting to happen.
Take care.
