He's pretty important to you! A character analysis of him and a studying of his teachings should be very important if you say this statement everyday and mean it. And saying this statement is putting Muhammad in a very special place. You don't say this about Jesus, a so called "Islamic" prophet! No, God is very important to us. Muhammad (Pbuh) is as important as all the other Prophets. We say his name in the Shadah because he was the Prophet for all nations, for all people. Muhammad (Pbuh) was sent for you and me while Jesus (Pbuh) was sent specifically to the Israelites. Jesus (Pbuh) is not a "So called" Islamic Prophet, he is a Prophet and as Muslims we do not distinguish between all Prophets of God (Pbut). And you need to say this to enter Paradise, described as, from the Qu'ran Yes, the belief in the Shadah is required to enter Paradise for the people that came after Muhammad (Pbuh) and knew of him. Now, about Jesus (Pbuh): 1. His birth was a miraculous virgin birth True. 2. He had supernatural knowledge True, by the leave of God. 3. He was sinless True. 4. He was Allah's mediator and Messiah To the People of Israel. 5. He heals and raises from dead True, by God's leave. 6. He ascended and will return True, by God's leave. Pretty impressive resume! And there is much more in the Qu'ran that makes him a pretty special guy. But curiously, in your Pillars you mention Muhammad. Because Muhammad (Pbuh) was our Prophet, and Jesus (Pbuh) was specifically for Israel. Muhammad (Pbuh) was the seal of the Prophets and sent unto all mankind. All previous Prpohets had been prescribed for certain nations, but Muhammad (Pbuh) was for all humanity. So my common sense says that if these super things about Jesus are true and he is not mentioned in your Pillars, then the guy who is should be at least equal, if not greater. We as Muslims do not compare Prophets to one another. We make no distinction between them. No Muslim can say that Muhammad (Pbuh) was greater than Jesus (Pbuh) or that Jesus (Pbuh) was greater than Muhammad (Pbuh). The Qur'an clearly states:135. They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (to salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah." 136. Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them : And we submit to Allah (in Islám)." 2.87 We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay! Now, you assert that: Muhammad teaches about punishment about getting urine on my clothes, and about drinking urine to make us healthy. You're completely distorting what I said. The Hadith are not the teachings of Muhammad (Pbuh). The Qur'an is our guide and it instructs us how to live. The person in the hadith you quoted soiled himself with urine and did not clean himself. The other hadith's showed that people who murdered were punished with death. It is you who try to make problems where there are no problems. Neither hadith taught of drinking urine to become well. And it is a fine line you have to walk, to drink urine to be healthy, but don't get it on your clothes or you'll be punished That is not what he taught, but what you continue to claim. Peace be unto you, Norris
