Hi John, Thanks for replying to my question about monitors. Prior to reading the various responses to my post, I guess I had already heard that bigger is better. But why then, I thought, would anyone buy a 17" from Dell when they could have the 19" for only $98 more. Why doesn't everyone just choose the 19"? The answer, obviously, is that the quality of the 19" apparently isn't as good, as John Koligman confirmed in his post. I had suspected there may be some other reason not to buy the 19". Judging from the replies, that isn't the case. Geoff
