imo, this type of action is rather common. There are in fact very very few high tech companies that do not have one or more of these lawsuits directed to them. Past experience from these, some were thrown out, some got settled out of court and the rest got judgement. Typical settlement favors very heavily towards the lawyers (they got most of the settlement money, not a surprise anyway based on 300$/hr work that they did preparing the documents that no one can really understand), and about half a penny in return for a dollar for the investors. IMO, these lawsuits have very little impact to the company.
