Jay, I am by no means a bear, but the bearish arguments I have heard fit the following two categories:

1. There is a global slowdown of telecom company purchases, and evidence of this come from Alcatel; and

2. Sonnet is an old technology and TLAB is entirely dependant on this older technology. Demand for Sonnet solutions is expected to wane rapidly over the next few years, and there is nothing on the drawing boards to replace it.

It seems to me that Michael Birck in his most recent CC as summarized by Dave Dickerson has addressed each of those concerns in great detail. I find myself persuaded by those arguments, and am content to continue owning TLAB.

TTFN,
CTC
