Got a bit sidetracked on the HOT chart. Was flipping around the charts on either side of HOT in my MS database and hit SBUX. It looks poised to make a move of its own. There is a large H&S pattern in the chart but I don't like it as a short yet. I see a move to the 43-45 area coming soon.

thread, could I get some opinions here

David,
A basic TA question (re: HOT). How might a substantial corp. structure change affect the validity of TA? HOT was a paired share REIT. They announced several months ago that, because of a tax law change that targeted the paired shared REIT's, they were abandoning the REIT status and would be taxed as a C Corporation. High dividend pay out will likely be substantially impacted. How long does it take for chart patterns to reflect the new situation?

David,

Re, "Oils are strong again. Traders dreams. NORT may be in play again.".

CDG also has some movement evident.
