What do you attribute the drop in today's action? 2 3/4 point spread. Does someone know what Thursday holds?

Not that i believe everything that i read, especially on YAHOO threads, but there seems to be one of the following two things going on:

1 - lots of shorts getting sweaty palms
2 - lots of concern regarding "creative accounting" and meeting or exceeding expectations

i would attribute the selloff to those who got in at or around 9 and got out at the recent 16

any thoughts?
