DGIV's approach to the IP market is unique and offers an alternative solution to the ATT's of the world. This has been discussed many times in the past.

Now we wait for the vision to turn into reality.

Good Morning{{{{{{{Laz}}}}}}},

Good Morning {{{{{{{Fellow DGIV-A-HOLICS}}}}}}}}}}

It was certainly a quiet weekend here on the thread. I was glad because with all the rain we had phones were out, electricity was poor, and lightening was to bad to get on computer. I only needed to catch up on a few posts. It looks like everyone took wb's advise and just enjoyed their families and the fall weather. Thanks {{{{{wb}}}}} for making that great suggestion.

I've had 15 inches of rain in the last 24 hrs, with more expected. I am lucky because my carpet is still dry. The subdivision was closed much of yesterday from nearby creek). Well, that's the weather report from San Antonio.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I'm going to curl up with my puppy (80 lbs) and a good book.

Sonya

<<< For example, DGIV owns one of 15 ISP licenses in Indonesia... no more are to be issued.>>>>

Where did you get such a ridiculous idea? Let me guess, you called the Indonesian government. Or did you (more likely) take DGIV's word for it? Like the millions in contracts...

I found 64 Indonesian internet companies at:

dir.yahoo.com

Not that it is a complete listing, I'm sure, since it looks like only those with web pages in English. I couldn't find DGIV listed anywhere as an Indonesian ISP.

There were at least 19 ISPs as of February 1997 alone: geocities.com

I wonder what the number is up to now.

Is there such a thing as an "ISP license"? I have a friend who works for an international service provider, and she's not aware of any country that requires a separate ISP license.

Let me guess, DGIV still claims Louis International (motto: "The phone company without a phone number!") exists too?
