wrong-they are not any less accountable. I don't know about you, but I always copy and save the html files from web page's that I have a vested interest in, so that no matter what a company decides to change later on, I have a copy of their original web page. The real accountability though comes from the fact that we are all witnesses to any and all statements made by publicly traded companies. I agree with you, it gives a company a lot more control in how they keep us updated, but they are still accountable-you know this. And yes, you are right that this method of direct communication is a good idea while other matters are finalized.
