my guru says rmbs technology is presently being used in cirrus logic 2d/3d video, dell workstation 400, compoaq alphaserver, hewlett packardf vectra, nec corp valuestar & netfine pcs, nintendo 64, silicon graphics indigo and impact, gateway 2000 big screen. there are many other products as well, and the list is growing daily. the question is no longer if rmbs is the new tech. intc has just established that it is. the problem could become not enough rdram to go around. Compaq, dell, ibm and others have all stated they are preparing to ship rdram equipped pc's. the koreans have committed to rdram and are preparing to make the switch and ramp up production of rdram over the next 3-6 months. the japs are lagging. i don't think the japs have the $$ right now to switch technologies. micron tech had that $ problem until friday's $500,000,000.00 cash infusion. now intc has a ready, local (buy american) source of rdram. now intc is no longer dependent on samsung. intc is certainly big enough to dictate which new technology will be "it". they have very clearly stated RAMBUS is "it". so what is the problem? i don't see it, do you?
i'm going to have to figure out how to buy more shares.
