I am sure that LindyBill and I would love to post the facts to you about gorilla's, but unfortunately if we quoted the whole book "The Gorilla Game", it would be copyright infringement. Go buy the book and be educated....

two yrs ago none of these existed

And two years ago threats existed that didn't exist two years before that and don't exist now. Don't forget than OS/2 was going to destroy MSFT and AMD was going to steal the market from INTC with their cheap 386 & 486 clones.
