I can't find the Science Times section of the NYTimes for last Tuesday, but it said something that seemed amazing to me. I guess I could go to NYT on the net for the interesting details, but instead I'll just say what I remember. .

The subject was the placebo effect.

And this is the factoid:

There is a drug called Naxolone, I believe it was, that blocks the analgesic effect of morphine.

And... it also blocks the analgesic effect of a placebo.
