I will keep my eyes open. Yes, Euro could be a big competition. And Clinton has been ruining the effectiveness of US foreign policy and US military for a long time now. We may becoming a laughing stock among strongmen of this world - Saddam, Milosovich, Kim (North Korea) etc - not to speak of Russian Mafia!

This bearish article ought to warm your heart, LT. Berkshire Hathaway has its largest cash position ever.

Message 6064510

THe big question is whether that is because they have made more money than ever before, or whether they are being defensive (probably both).

Now for the nightly crystal ball gazing based on the overseas action (which has been all but worthless as of late), Gold is down to 301.1, dollar down .17, yen is up .65, stock futures are about flat, while all of Asia except CHina and HK are roaring higher, Nikkei up over 3 percent. I'm not even going to guess what it will mean for tomorrow.

LT--

Been away for a few days and I see bulls stampeding through. lol.

Seems the sentiment have shifted. Must be because all the news is out and there's no longer a problem in the global economy. Problem solved, let's move on to curing global hunger and cancer.

Really now, guru or no guru, I think some on this thread needs a serious head examination. Many have their heads on straight and have a plan, but some just jump in and out without any thought. Bad move. Thean and others who have made nice short term trades--congrats. Others like LT who have longer horizon, congrats. It might be ugly and painful for you, but we've all got to decide how we want to play this. Good luck to all.
