Barry I just had a friend buy an IBM system at Best Buy grand opening in New Hampshire. It was priced at $999. He got there 10 minutes after the opening and they had already sold 50 units. His sale was around $1200 as he upgraded to a 17"screen on the 300mhz system plus supplies. He had been looking for three years and never had a machine before and wasn't willing to pay a lot to get on the net (email) etc. Three years waiting I wonder how many more are out there plus guys like me now going to upgrade after three years..... Yes, I will pass my system on the kids.
