Gary,

Great news on new format and your ever-escalating program utility horizon. And thanks for the diagnosis (albeit a confession). Let's see, 250 meg * .05/meg = $12.50 for a more responsive database? Is that a quibble proposition?

I'll see about catching up with you next Friday or would gladly accept guinea treats via USPS.

Craig

Sounds good. But the new format might raise one problem. I believe QP1 used to cut off the oldest data point trying to keep size down. PLEASE don't do that, It is very important to have the fullest range of historical data possible. Some of today's prices were ordained by prices 10-15 years or more ago.

I would like to see ability to append old data on the start of file so a DJ30 is looking at 20 years or more.

Gary,

OK to delete Q2funds.dbf & .mdx if I'm not interested in mutual funds?
Same for Q2fndmst.dbf & mdx.

OK to delete Q2futmst.dbf & .mdx if I'm not interested in futures?
Same for Q2future.dbf & mdx.

Deleting these files would free about 16 megs which I could use.
