Jan is a fox. e, I request a "name change", yes? The only reason I have been so "open" on this thread is that I feel that it motivates/helps me to find out as much as I can about Amzn's trading variables so collectively we are better prepared to be "involved" here. The close encounter with Amzn-the-stock for the past 6 months was an unique, painful, and powerful learning experience. The only way I can contribute here is to "say what I see", "tell what I do"; and hopefully I can help myself and someone like myself(relates to Amzn.) The bottom line here is to make $$; to make $$ we need to be informed "investors"(or "players") here; to inform as much as we can may just be the right thing to do. The elephants are "insisting" to make money the elephant ways; we will just keep the spot-lights on them while they are dacing! Btw, I think e.b. is very smart and very observing; she can keep more people more honest more of the time if she wants to!

I'll second what Glenn said -- I have enjoyed your posts as well. I think I'm figuring out the menagerie. William is a bull. Glenn is a bear. James, who is very wise (but can be cranky and hasty), is a badger. Jan is a fox. Mary Meeker and Jamie Kerrigan are Mahouts who tend the Elephants. Vinik runs the cockrocah fund which runs from the light. John Doerr is a ?? Snake? e.b.
