I agree Robert, there is no point in TCLN upsetting their shareholders. If shareholders believe reverse splits are bad, that's up to them and they own the company, so the management just has to struggle by with a low share price and the shareholders suffer the consequences.

Like you, I base my buying and selling on what I think it's worth, so I agree with you on this: "It appears to me that if, as you say, buyers are evaluating the future earnings of a potential investment, if they find them to be attractive, then they buy and the price will go up. If they don't, the price goes down, reverse split or not."

The trouble is, you and I are not the only people investing and institutional investors don't even consider it at the low prices and both Techniclone and most shareholders have been expressing a wish for institutional interest. If TCLN does get delisted due to an arbitrary price number, it will reduce further the universe of people who will even be aware of TCLN. Brokers won't tell people about it. Etc.

I completely agree with you that it would be great if the value of the company was what mattered instead of some arbitrary numbers set by various third parties.

Have to play golf now,

Will bore more another day.

Thanks for comments,
Maurice
