Fetus becomes more active, turning from side to side and sometimes head over heels. Fingernails have grown to tips of fingers. Fetus sleeps and wakes at regular intervals. Fetus has a month of rapid growth. At the end of the 5th month, fetus is 8-12 inches long and weighs 1/2 to 1 pound. SO WHAT? My foot weighs over 1/2 lb is my guess and it is not a human being. It also has toenails and there was a time when I was a child that my foot underwent rapid growth. My foot also falls asleep with the rest of my body when I am sleeping. Im sick of this lame scare-tactic rhetoric from the RR trying to convince some inner-city crack mom she should have a child she cant support. This is the kind of documentation they show these girls, in an attempt to get them to bring these unfortunate babies into the world (many of which only survive for a few months).
