Sorry, I haven't heard much as to how IBM is supposed to do. I expect equipment sales to be sub-par but they have really been pushing the services side of the business and that has been IMO the place to be. The services companies I follow have been growing revenues at 100% pace or better the last couple years and aren't slowing down. Of course that is still only part of IBM's business. Hopefully you will get a pullback after earnings. I have them on my short list but I want to see the market, their earnings and let the technicals give me a sign of when to go in.

You are not alone, I still haven't bailed out of my missed spread play from a week ago. I am short a company I expect to have stellar earnings but the way the market has been treating stocks after earnings lately, I am afraid I would sell at the low if I dump now. I will either wait for the BK to hit or lose the rest I guess as it is only a small position. I was only buying puts as a hedge on some calls I was buying in the same sector but a different company.

Hope you make out OK. I don't think we will have a big dump in the immediate future but I still don't think we will bounce too much higher before we turn back to reality either.

Good Luck,

Lee
