Michelle: You really do watch too much TV. You've really outdone yourself this time.

First, some factual correction. It seems rather well documented that Kennedy was a womanizing & adulterer with little respect for women. Seems to be a familial trait they learned from Joe, Sr. Roosevelt I am not sure about. Eisenhower was not. You should have the facts straight. Clinton is an admitted serial adulterer. The reason Roosevelt's possible and Kennedy's adultery, etc was not exposed was because it would have made a difference. It should have been. There was never any suggestion of adultery committed by Eisenhower in the WH and his driver who he is alleged to have had an affair with while stationed in Europe retracted her statements to that effect. Not ALL politicians are egomaniacs nor are they philanderers. We should demand better which is my exact point.

Babies have never had babies in the number we see today. The moral stigma associated with unwed motherhood has eroded. In fact, we see single motherhood exalted by celebrities, etc. As I have stated before, voluntarily bringing a baby into a one parent household is the height of selfishness, IMO. The percentage of out of wedlock births is staggering. If you are not aware of the statistics, you are indeed naive. You missed the babies murdering babies comment. I will take it you concede the point.

I spoke of spiritualism not conventional religion. I was raised as a Roman Catholic but do not practice "conventional" Roman catholicism. In fact, questioning "conventional" religion which is a man made apparatus is probably a good thing. Questioning His existence and His Commandments, that is something else. You probably noticed that His ancient commands are not labeled as the Ten Suggestions. I'm no gambler. As I look around me I am not willing to concede that there is NOT some sort of higher force in our universe. Following those Ten Commandments seem like a pretty sure and easy way to hedge my bets. Now I am not an evangelical christian nor a member of the dreaded "RR" whatever the heck that is in addition to some liberal code word for bigotry aimed at "religious" people. And, as I mentioned before, I do NOT watch TV. It bores me and it tends to pollute my mind with a lot of liberal claptrap that I find quite distasteful. JLA
