Brooke,

No lights in my attic; but the Whoops Sell is just as quizzical:

C>Mov(C,10,S) AND
C>Mov(C,50,S) AND
O>Ref(C,-1)+0.25

Probably best used to study the momo's underlying contrarian nature.

Craig

HI Brooke!

Thanks for the elaborate answer.Guess i'm not the only one in the dark.About filling the gap my feel is that Cooper doesn't have enough time assigned to his setups to wait for this but i actually don't know his work first hand. Since it's incomprehensible for(to me?!?-sorry, not native speaker) me i will not use it anyways. I need to understand the purpose of a scan otherwise i don't use it. I don't use a lot of scan ;-))(these a.gabor monsters)!!

there is no such thing as a Cooper whoops buy.

Shorts
stock below 10 and 50 day MA.
prev day close must be below open
today's open must be at least 1/4 above yesterday's close
Sell short 1/8 below prev close

Notice that this is an intraday trade, requiring RT most of which will give list of gaps. It is a day trade, for best part. the only thing an EOD scan would give you is stocks below 10 and 50 ma, 1000s of them.
