Stephen - Re: "emember when the teacher told you what was going to be on the test "

Somehow I never went to this kind of school !

It usually didn't matter what I studied - the tests always seemed to cover some other material !

re: " the star pupil on Wall Street in the Semi arena is Tom Kurlak whether we like it or not"

Kurlak has made about 4 or 5 wrong calls on Intel in the past 10 months - so his star is descending. People listen to baloney for only so long.

Harry, Stephen, Paul and All,
The question is, why does Kurlak ignor Intel's guidance, disregard Intel's answers to his direct questions, and not acknowledge that he has been dead wrong on his 2H98 earnings estimates?

Since August 20, 1998, his earnings estimates for INTC's earnings for 2H1998 and Y1999 have been increased twice, by more than 15% for each year. Yet, he has not changed his recommendation on INTC from the neutral rating he assigned on Aug. 20th.
Regards,
Jules
