Wearable PC's in a vertical market make good sense. People taking inventory, meter maids, nurses etc. all have good use of wearable computers.

What's a Palm Pilot, but a wearable computer? This begins to cross the vertical market of pocket organizer with more useable solutions, but again the system can't do all things for all people.

The horizontal wearable PC needs better user interface for data entry and access to a network. Again, it comes back to better voice entry. The network eliminates the on board disk drive and makes the system more shock resistant and lighter. This is not a dream. Taking the network to the Palm Pilot or Win CE is getting closer everyday now.

Regards,

Mark

PX, I am waiting for a PC that looks like a pair of eye glasses
with the display on the inside of the lenses, responding to
voice commands. Anything else seems dorky.
Oh, no wires and cables of any kind!
