...read this one as bed-time story last night. Short story about this duel between noble Lords, the outcome of which was bound to be true justice because of 'divine intervention'. And of course, it isn't because the plot thicketh. So... the last line is a new decree from the Emperor, an amendment carved on all statues of justice in Germany, saying, "...if it so be his will".
