Nicholas If I might make a suggestion. With parameters on any indicator the range is so varied from one person to the next that one needs to find what type of trader or investor they are. This will give one leverage when looking at indicators. If you are a short term trader a certain parameter setting will work better than if you are a long term investor. It is very difficult to give an opinion to anyone who does not state their objectives or does not know their objectives. You need a plan. Figure out what you want to do, then, finding the correct indicators and parameters will come much more easily. This was the path I eventually figured out but it took much too long. All you will have to do once you find a style is plot the indicators using several different parameters until you find some that look like they will signal when you would like them to. The MS system tester is a valuable tool for this trial and error period. ht david
