PH,

No, TXN "gave" them $550 million (not $750) in exchange for 13% or so of MU and a billion or so in notes...

Come on now we all know what happened. MU received $750 million plus had to assume $200 million of Italian debt. There was an issue about the assumption of debt by Italians so TXN keeps the debt and just credited the amount from the $750 million. Bottom line MU still got outdated fabs with the same funds to upgrade to .21 microns.

As far as Lehi...there is no comparison to TXN fabs since no fab was ever installed at that site.

Good Luck Trading
