WCOM.. you can get it day earnings come out or 1 day before as anticipation play, exactly like with ASND (I thought ASND's earnings coming out after close, would not have entered) or get 10 calls so as not to risk too much..

David, I did a reevaluation of WCOM and yes the situation with MCIC might complicate it.. but there are other considerations. WCOM has a PEG ratio of .29 . Currently,
analysts expect earnings of $0.88 per share this year (1998) and earnings of $1.92 per share next year (1999). This represents a gain of 120.0% over last year's earnings of $0.40 per share, and another rise of 118.2% in 1999. Also 3rd quarter earnings projected of $0.24 is 100% more than same quarter last year. So you have factors pulling WCOM in opposite directions. If you are looking for a trade, I'd go with the trend day or two before earnings. If you are looking to hold I'd wait for after earnings to see what transpires.
