Concerning your problem, Spots does have a good point. One way to confirm this easily is to assign it a different drive letter than M using disk administrator. On servers with many drives and partitions I always give my shared network drives higher letters than the system and local drives. Makes them easier to keep separate, I'll sometimes start at Z: and work my way down. Also you might try it as NTFS. Can't say what difference it may make, but worth the try. If you do this you make as well use the quick format. I've never had any problems with it, although now that I think of it, the long format may uncover media errors. Good Luck Dan
