Just bought some IOM. I like this short term play leading into Comdex. Nice 2 day rise, and heavier volume than normal (although that's not saying much). But this garbage is toast after Comdex. Be sure to be on the lookout for a price crash immediately following Las Vegas. In fact, I plan to get out 2-3 days prior to the festivities. The Iomega Hype-machine this time of year cannot be ignored, although it tends to break down when reality sets in. These days that lead into Comdex are fantasyland for Iomaniacs. They enjoy dreams of sugar-coated Vapor! drives dancing in their heads. They have delusions of HiFD and Orb drives not coming to store shelves near them real soon. It's a fantasy-fairy-sugar plum playground for Iomaniac Hype, and one would be a fool not to take advantage of it. But ugly reality enters the picture again right after Comdex. And I'll be out.
