*AV*--SGI reached got as high as 9 1/2 so far today and is resting at 9.25 right now.

We talked about SIII this morning, and even after opening up at $3.75 profits were still available since it is now 4 1/16.

we washed our hands of CKSG/USWB as of this morning but we were forced to take some additional gains before exiting. Before we could get out, USWB ran from 14 3/16 to 14 3/4 while CKSG ran from 19 1/4 to 20, with a slight scare as it fell to 18 3/8 after opening down.

TLAB - another highlighted stock opened at 45 1/8 and ran to 48 3/4 before backing off slightly. Heck, even CIEN, which I was not to favorable on is up $3 (or really $2 since it opened close to $1 higher and you couldn't participate).

PAIR is up 3/4 this morning.

This is all from memory as I go mentally go over the stuff discussed.
Heck, the teaser stock from part 3 of 3 announced a stock buyback today that was just that much bettererer<GGG>. It might offset the downside since they have a bucket full of money to do the buyback.<GG>
Then again, a great argument was made for the retracment and I will stick to my guns.

INTC spend a few bucks today by picking up (acquiring) SHVA.

A beautiful launch of the newsletter on a beautiful market day. Or at least the topics disucssed turned out rather well as a group.

Too bad some people do not know what we are talking about since they never sent me their email addresses<GGG> HINT HINT<GGG>

Oh yeah, RMBS, the subject of a lengthy discussion is slightly off today. Just to have balance, that should be highlighted.
