Good point Les, and btw every comment I have ever made regarding what caused WWII fascism was regarding the prior period.

I thought thats what we were talking about because JLAs statement originally talked about what "LED" to WWII, etc.

Les - don't you agree that at least some of the economic recovery was as a result of the rearming of the military? My point being that the designs on Europe were already being laid at the beginning of the economic turnaround of '36. Again, yet another example of outright dishonesty - Germany was building its war machine in direct violation of treaties, with an "end justifies the means" mentality fully in play.
