Hey John, if TD told you that Aspt was stuffing the channel, why didn't you sell? I also heard that rumor and am kicking myself for not taking some action.

nortstan, not nortel. norstan is a partner of aspt's, nortel is a competitor. i generally ignore all of the bs i hear from competitors unless it's a claim of a major deal win one of my holdings was counting on. I'm still irritated with aspt's mediocre results. Shouldn't they be will in the middle of a great upgrade cycle with their NT based product? The mediocre results and the cautioius guidance are disconcerting and it doesn't fit with my other pulse points. That's why I didn't sell my entire position, only most of it. (Obviously regretting that decision.) ASPT should be doing better: expansion into more complete solutions entry into the carrier market release 7 upgrade cycle rumors of massive german business boastful confidence at the end of the june quarter doing a huge convert deal a reputation as the best management team in the cti space then they offer norstan big end of quarter discounts they put up a mediocre quarter at best they offer cautious guidance Soimething doesn't line up and I'm not sure I can trust them again. I ask the thread, what gives with these guys? td
