Hey, five days no impeachment news, five days of rally. Perhaps some of you will recall I gave a half-dozen variables affecting a market recovery and said that any two of them could spark a rally. Three of them have partly happened - impeachment is not dead but is out of the news, the discount rate was not cut .5% but it was cut (as opposed to the fed funds rate), and the G7/IMF/NATO/US etc are acting in a coordinated fashion again.

Looks like that was plenty. Apparently there is a pool of great optimism that was just waiting to burst out. And now that the market, and so the economy, are looking up, counter to Republican strategy for this point in the election cycle, the chances of the Demos in the coming election are looking up also.

Who would like to go on record for congressional seats won/lost/held? Bit of a ships lottery, if you will.
