Cortex is a discovery stage biotech firm. What did you expect to happen? They are just one day closer to possibly having a safe, effective drug than they were yesterday. IF Cortex has developed an effective treatment (it doesn't have to be a cure) for Alzheimer's or schizophrenia, and they get marketing approval from the FDA, there will be big bucks. Just remember that is IF not WHEN. This thread was pretty much dead for about two years. One story on TV generated more activity than there had been in those two years. I'm pretty sure that next week, it'll be dead again. It was a crap shoot when I bought it, and nothing has really changed. I'm sure the longs will see the traders again when there is an announcement of a partnership or results from clinical trials. -Michael
