As I've said, the Suckers are being drawn in by the Iomega Hype Machine and its Iomaniacal lackies. For those insulted by the term "Iomaniac," I use it to refer only to those who display a mind-numbing servitude to Iomega and a reality-challenged loyalty towards their shoddy products. Iomega's products are easily replaced-- and they are at this very moment. Jaz has lost considerable sales to CD-RW. And Zip is about to lose huge market share to Sony HiFD. In other news, Sony's Godzilla is the 3rd Highest money-making movie of the year worldwide: boxofficeguru.com Godzilla has made almost $360 Million so far. This means almost $200 Million in pure profit gravy for Sony. Any portion of this amount could be used to make sure Sony's HiFD drive is ingrained in the minds of Computer users everywhere. And make Zip's sales numbers of 18 million look pathetic in short order.
