QUESTIONs for All:

1) What percent of options expire worthless each month?

2) Do MMs or large investors nudge stocks for their advantage on expiration day? If they do HOW and how profitable is it?

Thanks. We've seem to be having this debate on the DELL thread and I thought this thread might be the best source of answers.

-Eddie

Howdy Dennis!

To close your short BTGC stock position you need to "buy BTGC to
cover" which means you have to go out in the open market place. So,
you should be able to do a limit buy order to cover at the stock
price you indicate. If you have a live body at your brokerage it may
be worth the extra commission for them to execute it for you!

Really strange BTGC early earnings announcement today! It was ok, but
nothing to dance on the tables about. I guess the street was not
phased by the news. Slightly, better volume but still under the norm.

rich valuation and is selling at a 32% premium vs. other stocks in the
same industry group.

NASDAQ: (NOVL : $13) $4,538 million Market Cap at October 19, 1998
Ranks 734th in the Fortune 1,000 on Revenue & 517th on Profit.

NOVL also sells LEAPs which is a real neat way to own truck loads of
NOVL and write CCs. Take a look at the BB and RSI for yourself.
