I would agree, in a perfect world. But have you noticed the spreads on options lately? They leave some premium in, and then you pay a spread of sometimes 1/4 point!!!.... And then you pay a commission!!!!

It's rape, pillage and plunder for the option arb players.

You know what? It's easier to get assigned (cost $15 up to 1000 shares), and then sell the stock for a small commission (another $15 for up to 1000 shares).

If I bought the option back at 1/8 (assuming someone would sell me it at 1/8...) that ALONE is more than the total commission!! Then additionally add the ooption commission of $30 bucks....
