SDRC CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 1998--SDRC (Nasdaq:SDRC - news), a leading global provider of product development solutions and developer of I-DEAS(TM) and Metaphase(R) Enterprise(TM) software, today reported revenues totaling $101.8 million for the quarter ended September 30, 1998, a 17% increase over the same quarter last year. SDRC's best revenue quarter ever was driven by a 35% increase in Asia, where SDRC's relationships with major corporations such as Nissan,
Mazda, Toshiba, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, and Matsushita have made SDRC the design automation market leader in Japan. Total global
license revenues were up 9% compared to the same quarter last year. Net income was $10.3 million, or 28 cents per average
share outstanding, compared to $12.4 million or 33 cents per average share for the same period last year. Other income for the
1998 September quarter included a non-recurring gain on the sale of assets of about $2.7 million.

For the nine months ended September 30, 1998, SDRC's revenue was $288.1 million, up 12% compared to the first nine months of
1997. Net income was $25.8 million, or 67 cents per average share outstanding, compared to net income (after acquisition related
costs of $20.9 million incurred in the first quarter of 1997) of $11.9 million, or 33 cents per average share outstanding for the same
period last year.

CHICAGO, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamond Technology Partners Incorporated (Nasdaq: DTPI - news) today reported its
second quarter and first half fiscal year 1999 results.

Revenues for the second quarter (ended September 30, 1998) increased to a record $20.1 million, a 40% increase over $14.4
million recorded for the year- earlier period. Net income for the quarter rose to $2.4 million, a 66% increase over $1.4 million for
the second quarter of fiscal year 1998. The Company reported diluted earnings per share of $0.15 for the quarter, compared with
$0.10 per share in the year-earlier period.

For the first half of fiscal year 1999, revenues were $38.5 million, a $12.0 million increase over $26.5 million for the first half of
fiscal year 1998. Net income for the first half was $4.5 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, a $2.2 million increase over $2.3 million,
or $0.16 per diluted share, for the first half of last year.

OMQP - Came up on my scans last night Message 6068217. Up 33% today. Closed at 11 7/8. The high was 12 7/8. No news. Could be one to watch. I wasn't able to monitor my picks after 12:00 pm. Any big blocks go through ?
