Adam Adamou, Taurus Capital...In His Own Words 10/19/98.

"...The NewKidCo deal could prove to be a "huge" revenue generator for SoftQuad International, said analyst Adam Adamou of Taurus Capital Markets Ltd. He estimates NewKidCo products could bring in up to US$12 million in fourth quarter revenue..." source: © Thursday, June 11, 1998 The Financial Post By Keith Damsell,Technology Reporter

Interview, 19 October 1998

esecurities: Do you still represent the SoftQuad Inc divestiture?

Adamou: Yes.

esecurities: Are you optimistic of divesting the remainder of SoftQuad Inc.

Adamou: I cannot answer that question...I believe you are aware that part has been sold to Interleaf...

esecurities: Yes, but no numbers were given...we simply do not know if it was given away or what...

Adamou: I think you are barking up the wrong tree with us...you should be contacting the Company for those figures.

esecurities: We did and the Company is not commenting nor is Interleaf.

esecurities: Do you stand behind your[NewKidCo] Q4 numbers pursuant to your interview with The Financial Post? i.e. how would you answer that question today?

Adamou: I think the numbers are doable...but I wouldn't quote a number at this time...it would be more prudent for people to wait...

esecurities: Do you have a recommendation out on this Company?

Adamou: No. It is still too soon. We are waiting for more [NewKidCo] results.
