re earnings estimates
I'm for doing it openly as we always do. DELL has been hopping up and down anyway, without us and without earnings. I doubt that we have much impact, and if we do, it is very very short term.

Hey, I propisized the score of the Yankee-Padres game ahead of time. I'm so proud of myself!!!!!

Pat, You are going to take all the fun out it. Also, there is no way this thread has made a diff. in est. for DELL.

Hi Pat: thank you for considering a new way for publishing earnings estimates. Dell is known for its innovative ideas and approaches. They surely are in the forefront of changing methodolgies, technologies, etc. Are we going the Dell's way, or are we going to stay stagnant and not trying new ways? We may never know whether stockchat whispers do influence the stock price, but there is no harm for trying.

I suggest that we try it for November. If it does not work, we can always go back to the old way.

Regards

PAL
