SOX up ~2%, vlsi up ~20%. cbs.marketwatch.com My experience with vlsi is that these kind of moves often, if not usually, show that 'something is up'. To me it's just a sign that the market thinks maybe vlsi will not be going to silicon heaven any time soon. Once we get close to book value I might actually break a smile. I don't think the company's share repurchase is a material part of today. Just my opinion, but if I were in charge of buying the shares back I'd of been buying before this run up. I think Greenspan's surprise move has messed with a lot of short seller's minds and the market as a whole should see decreasing volatillity for the next several months. But this still doesn't explain today. a day above ground is a good day, yes? cheers, -Kevin
