his estimates appear much too conservative for telcos since all totals show a sign up of about 75,000 lines a month now for adsl; so if you have increasing sign ups next year... don't know how he arrived at his numbers. maybe he computed them three months ago when sign ups were just getting going really

it's possible he was figuring that businesses would not signup as quickly as they are now doing and/or were wanting to do so just three months ago. also believe his cable/telco mix is questionable; with him giving too much credence to cable and less to telco. the end will tell, but telcos have the bigger dollars to impliment a quicker push, even at a loss going forward
