Reginald, one reason for AMD price stagnation is that analysts are mad at AMD. I think it was Kumar who complained that there was a lack of "visibility" at AMD. Meanwhile, some analysts at ABN Ampro said AMD will be releasing the 380 and 400 MHz K6-2 a week from today. This is probably true, since a web-based retailer (Lynn Computer Products) is already taking orders. Back in May, they took orders for the K6-2 a week before its actual release, and shipped the K6-2-266 and K6-2-300 one week and two weeks after the official release.

If these chips come out anywhere near 10/26/98, it will show that it is Ashok Kumar who is blind, deaf and dumb, since he said these parts won't be released until Q1'99 because of a "1% yield" problem.
